Phosphorus removal can be particularly difficult, especially as local and state statutes become more stringent about its control. H2O Tech has extensive experience in managing, cleaning, and even recycling through a variety of means. In particular, relying only on chemical treatment of phosphorus can lead to secondary problems, including increasing the volume of sludge produced which also has poor settling and dewatering characteristics. H2O Tech can create biological agents that can reduce sludge volume, improve its settling and dewatering potential, and reduce oxygen requirements.
