SMZ Products

Purefloc Products
Purefloc is a proprietary blend of natural bridging polymers developed by H2O Technical Services, Inc. It was developed to remove "soluble" targets from the liquid phase. Traditionally, soluble targets such as BOD, TKN, NO3 and TP have been difficult to remove in a physical/chemical process. Treatment has been accomplished through conventional biological designs that work well, but involve expensive capital outlays.
Because of the anti-oxidant qualities in Purefloc, there is also a reduction in ORP and conductivity. As a result, prevents putrification and prevents odor. Purefloc applications include:
- DAF pretreatment removal for BOD and TKN
- Secondary biological systems for nitrate compliance
- Groundwater silica removal
- Sludge dewatering conditioning
- Odor control
- H2S elimination in distribution systems and anaerobic cells
